There’s nothing quite like a little friendly competition at Poppy Hills—and this year’s Two-Person 6/6/6 tournament delivered on every front. From strategic teamwork to clutch putts and dialed-in tee shots, the field brought both skill and energy to the course for a memorable day of golf.
The 6/6/6 format is always a fan favorite, challenging teams to adapt across three different playing styles over 18 holes. It rewards not just talent, but communication, chemistry, and smart course management—and this year’s competitors rose to the occasion.
A huge congratulations to Gene Aso and Alex Perl, who navigated the format flawlessly. Their impressive round of 67 secured them the Overall Gross title, showcasing consistency and control from start to finish. For reference, par at Poppy Hills is 71 👀
The Women’s Net division brought some of the most exciting competition of the day.
